Bio-inspired routing for heterogeneous Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) swarm networking

In this paper, we propose a bio-inspired routing for heterogeneous Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) swarm networking. Inspired by the biological cell paradigm, each UAS has principal characteristics of wall building. Within connection range, can construct cooperation and collaborations. The evaluation shows that improve efficiency, flexibility, robustness networking on large scale. As amount increases, construction keeps stable which outperforms conventional gateway approaches. With wall, achieve high volume throughput reliable connections. approach is decentralized elastic to dynamic networking, great potential assist deployment under variable scaling environment.
